THE DESIGN PROCESS

Graphic design is more than creating something visually appealing—it’s about the journey behind it. My approach begins with a deep understanding of the project and the needs of the audience or client. Whether crafting a logo or developing an entire campaign, I strive to design with purpose, ensuring every element communicates a clear and meaningful message.

1  BEGIN RESEARCH

Every project should begin with thorough research. The type of project defines how I go about this beginning stage. Overall I start by looking into the brand, audience, and goals, to gather insights that will help guide my creative process. But I will also look at similar designs regarding the project, that I can benefit from discovering. This step ensures that every design choice is intentional and effective.

2 CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT

With a concrete foundation in research, I start to brainstorm and sketch out ideas for the project. This is the stage where creativity meets reality, focusing on finding innovative or practical solutions depending on the project’s initial objectives.

3  DESIGNING

This is where ideas come to life. Using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, I turn my ideas into polished designs. Paying close attention to typography and color is important to me. I like to ensure every detail works cohesively.

4  SEEK FEEDBACK

Communication is key. I value feedback and see it as an opportunity to take a project even further.

5 COMPLETION

Once a project is complete, I spend the time to prepare it for its intended use. This is the most satisfying stage. Stepping back and seeing the piece in its completion.
